Nerdgasm's Staff Bulletin Board

  Remember that post from just a hot-second ago where we said that Hollywood had reached the bottom of the barrel?  Twelve seconds later that became a fact.  For those of you kids from 70s (yes, younger viewers of Nerdgasm…older people were kids once), that remember the bizarre stretchy man toy-thing…Stretch Armstrong is becoming a movie? WTH?  Mr. Hand asked the guys about a toy they’re probably too young to care about but some of you might:

CHRIS: “I remember him, just a character based on a gimmick.  Don’t Think there’s much of a movie there, I get it; he’s stretchy.”

ANDRE: “Never had a Stretch Armstrong, just some WWF stretch wrestlers!  A movie sounds ridiculous.”

 MR. HAND: “My brother had one.  He also had Armstrong’s enemy, the green monster one too.  My favorite memories are when I would hold it by one hand and swing it in a circle over my head until he stretched reeeeeeally far and then let go.  I could fling him over a two-story barn or into my brother with some serious force.   He was also fun to stretch between two go-carts and pull him in separate directions.”
